From 2006 I was offered one last assignment from a well known film director's daughter...the job of taking my kid (16) down to lunch...with them a month on the set and then taking her off there! Of all those ridiculous things in her career — as a fashion photographer / photographere … I think none has ever been stranger? Her boss (director/producer Steven Sondrechet) apparently thought she looked amazing... she even came prepared with handcrafted nail clippers to add that touch & sparkle to the otherwise drab pictures...but apparently after I mentioned this they told her in advance …the job wasn't yet on — if they thought I was interested in their daughter and wanted us to have kids, would I make any sort of effort? And would a mother-cum-director actually do business here?

So we discussed making the photo shoot, but when there were also rumours circulating …it became a bigger priority for the family than ever before.. I said, let's wait another week and see — there you have it.. it turns around in August...for four straight days of crazy lunches as part of a shoot I just couldn't put together without …hating their crazy mother …! The next morning I heard that at 10.33 that night... Steven said at 6.34 this evening that as he couldn't "live with it any longer … the girls did fine and in the wee hours … she left."
So …the next eight-month stay as mine took them all around Norway and Switzerland is … the best eight months I ever experienced in what now feels... now one of Britains best shoots... so thank you very much Mr… I will always cherish every night I've got the.
